2013 SAT Prep Class

This free class is offered to students who do not otherwise have the opportunity to attend SAT Prep Courses.  The class is a SAT Prep Class & Mentoring program operated by the AWCA and volunteers.  A daily Praise Worship & Bible Study will begin each class, where students will have the opportunity to come together in fellowship.  The Praise Worship & Bible Study is not mandatory but recommended for students in promoting camaraderie.  Class eligibility is on a first come first serve basis to those who meet financial qualifications.  Repeat students will be put on the end of the waiting list and accepted only upon availability of space.

• Eligibility: 10th-12th grade students as of September 2014
• Date: 6/ 24 & 6/25 & 7/1-8/5 (5wks), M~F
• Time: 9:30am~1:30pm (SAT I), 1:30pm~3:30pm (SAT II)

Short Essay: 2-3 pages/ double spaced/ 1 inch margins/ 12 point font, Times New Roman

Topic: Who has been the greatest influence in your life and why?  This may be a person who you know personally or any significant person throughout history whom you admire.

* SAT II: Biology only for students who have already taken Biology & Math II only for students who have completed either Trigonometry or Algebra 2.  Pretest will determine eligibility for SAT II.
