06/12/2020AWCA Kihwa Scholarship 2020
The 2020 Kihwa Scholarship committee is currently accepting applications from dedicated college or graduate school students who have a dream to fulfill but are in difficult circumstances.
The Kihwa Scholarship is named after its founder, and this year marks the 17th. The founder, Ms. Kihwa Kwak was passed away due to Covid-19 this spring.
The total amount for this scholarship fund is $6000, which will be given to 2 recipients on the amount of $3000 per student during the upcoming school year.
Required Documents:
• Completed Application Form
• Resume
• Letters of recommendation (2)
• Most Current Transcript /minimum cumulative grade of 3.2
• Essay (volunteerism)
• 100 volunteer hours within the past 4 years
Kihwa Scholarship Ceremony:
• Date: Wednesday, August 11 at 10am

2020 AWCA 기화장학생 선발
AWCA에서는 어려운 환경가운데서도 꿈을 이루기 위해 노력하는 대학생 및 대학원생을 대상으로2020 기화장학금을 받을 학생들의 신청을 받습니다. 기화장학금은 장학금 기금을 기증하신 분의 이름을 따서 만들었으며 올해로 17회를 맞습니다. 이번 봄에 곽기화선생님께서는 코로나 바이러스로 인하여 안타깝게 소천하셨습니다.
장학금은 모두 $6,000로 2명의 학생에게 일인당 $3,000씩 전달됩니다.
지원자격:
~미국내 대학생 및 대학원생, 성적 3.2 이상,
~지난 4년동안 100시간의 자원봉사시간,
제출서류: 신청서, 자기소개서,추천서(2매),성적증명서,영문에세이(Volunteerism) 2-3 page
